Find Type 2 Diabetes Cure

type 2 diabetes cure

With many websites claiming to have a cure for diabetes, how easy is it to find a type 2 diabetes cure? It all depends on where you look. The word “cure” is a medical term used by doctors. It means that the condition that has been cured will not return.

There are several well-known doctors and wellness centers that can help diabetics with curing their condition.

How to find a type 2 diabetes cure is not straightforward. You get what you pay for. If what you are being presented with sounds too good to be true, you are likely being lied to. For example, there are spam emails arriving in people’s inboxes in which one particular sender claims that he was put on Earth to heal people. What is he pitching? Cinnamon. Yes, at $16 a bottle it is not very expensive, so people might opt to try it. Cinnamon does not and cannot even reverse pre-diabetes, let alone cure type 2 diabetes. There are many such emails and pitches found on Facebook and on other websites.

There are legitimate doctors and clinics that help with diabetes. Some require the diabetic to enroll in a program that includes four consultations a month for three months at about $400 per consultation. Others charge a $1200 first-time consultation fee. One local university has a program to assist diabetics. They charge a $5000 enrollment fee and the success rate is less than 40%, as many people give up. All this money goes to the doctors and the university, and what you get in exchange is a diet or recipe book and consultations with a doctor.

Taking the mystery out of the diabetes cure

Research upon research has found that type 2 diabetes is caused by an excess consumption of sugar. Over time, the sugar builds up in the body and the insulin secreted by the pancreas is simply not enough to transport this excess sugar to the muscles to be used as energy. The question is this: If you have sugar buildup inside your body, how do you get rid of it? The simple answer is diet and exercise.

But can you find a type 2 diabetes cure? The below points are evidence showing that you can find a type 2 diabetes cure.

  1. WebMD, the leading healthcare information provider to medical doctors and healthcare professionals published an article on how a diabetic cured his diabetes titled: Secret recipeHow a Chef Cured His Type 2 Diabetes.
  2. The results of a clinical research study performed by Natalia McInnes of McMaster University, Ontario, were published in The National Post in March 2016. The article is titled Type 2 diabetes can be cured in four months—if you cut calories and exercise, research shows
  3. As the title states, studies performed by McInnes showed that type 2 diabetes can be cured.
  4. In a large clinical trial started in 2016, and which is still ongoing in the UK, researchers have found that that type 2 diabetes can be put into remission by following a regime of diet and exercise.

In all of the four points, the theme is diet and exercise, not taking cinnamon tablets nor cutting corners while on your diet and exercise regime. Most people don’t know the above points mainly because the truth about how to find a type 2 diabetes cure  is not being promoted, even though the mission of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF)—which includes Diabetes UK, Diabetes Canada, Diabetes Pakistan, the American Diabetes Association, and others—is to promote diabetes care and cure worldwide. Instead, managing the condition is what is promoted because it is that which forces the diabetic to take prescription drugs for the rest of his or her life. Sadly, most diabetics who die from the condition—one out of two—die while managing their diabetes. Most research on diabetes done by large institutions is not about how to find a type 2 diabetes cure; the research almost exclusively relates to developing new products—such as new blood glucose meters—to be sold to diabetics.

What percentage of diabetics are type 2?

Ninety per cent of all cases of diabetes are type 2. Unlike with type 1 diabetes—where the pancreas does not secrete insulin—with type 2 diabetes, the pancreas still works but does not secrete an adequate amount, as in a normally functioning body. Type 2 diabetes means there is sugar buildup inside the body. It is very important to understand that, if the pancreas still works, it means the excess sugar causing the diabetes can be removed, and relatively easily.

How do we know that type 2 diabetes can cured?

This article has presented four points which show that type 2 diabetes is a curable condition. With the buildup of sugar that takes place in the body, some of that sugar finds its way into the blood stream where it converts into fat. Some of the fat coats the blood cells and prevents them from absorbing the sugar and transporting it to the muscles where it would normally be used for energy that fuels body. At that stage, the person becomes insulin-resistant, or type 2 diabetic. What that means is that the victim has to take steps to reverse and cure his or her condition.

Note: You should confer with your doctor when undertaking a diet and exercise program that your body is not used to.

Type 2 diabetes remission

Type 2 diabetes remission is when the blood sugar level has returned to normal. The word remission is a medical term used in place of the reversal of type 2 diabetes, which means the disease or condition can return. When the diabetes is in remission, or reversed, the doctor takes the patient off their medication. They can then eat some sugar, but not in excess. Excess sugar consumption overwhelms the body and allows the diabetes to return.

When type 2 diabetes has not returned for two years after it was reversed, it is considered to be cured. This is achievable if one follows the post-diabetes program offered at Centre for Diabetes and Obesity Wellness.
