Diabetes America

Diabetes America

The purpose of this article is to provide information on Diabetes America (the current situation of diabetes in America) and to offer a solution as to how type 2 diabetes can be reversed and even cured. The solution being given is evidence-based.

Diabetes is now one of the leading killers in America and is on the increase. The disease costs the American government over 260 billion dollars a year. This figure is predicted to increase as the number of cases grows in the field of Diabetes America. (The costs include expenses related diseases triggered by diabetes, such as heart disease and stroke.)

Diabetes Information

Lifesaving information that Diabetes America needs as a nation to promote a healthy lifestyle is often prevented from reaching victims of the disease. But can the condition be reversed and cured? Dr. Joel Furnham, a well-respected doctor, related in a video how pharmaceutical companies requested that he author an article on diabetes, which he did. Upon completion, the drug company that had requested him to write the article declined to publish it indicating that, if they published it, diabetics would come to know that their condition could be cured.

Diabetes Rise In America

Diabetes America is growing mainly due to two reasons:

  1. As one doctor I interviewed for the book Diabetic’s Journey said, “People don’t listen. They depend on modern medicine to cure them, but it cannot. All they have to do is eat moderately and exercise and 90% of their diseases will be cured, including type 2 diabetes. It would also prevent heart attack and stroke.”
  2. The worst discovery I made when researching the reversal and cure of type 2 diabetes supports what Dr. Fuhrman said. The information on reversing and curing this condition is intentionally withheld from those who need it the most—the sufferers included in Diabetes America. The most misleading information about pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes (both conditions which do not require manual insulin injections) is the information which states that these conditions should be managed using pharmaceutical drugs. The purpose of the drugs is so that the diabetic can continue to eat refined sugar, which is the leading cause of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Managing diabetes means the victim will remain diabetic, which leads to—as mentioned before—stroke, heart disease, and even early death.

The man accredited as the father of Mathematics, Abn al Haytham, also known as Al Hazeen, taught his students about the importance of evidence-based conclusions. In 2009, when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I had a blood sugar level of 21.7 millimoles/L—a life-threatening quantity. Following the norm, I took the route most diabetics take, thinking it was the only available solution. This was to manage the diabetes with pharmaceuticals. One out of two diabetics has a shortened lifespan caused directly or indirectly by type 2 diabetes. Slogans such as, “live happily with diabetes or manage your diabetes”, contradict The International Diabetes Federation’s mission: “Promoting diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide”. When my doctor, Dr. Robinson, and several other health practitioners informed me that type 2 diabetes could be reversed and cured, I entered into research and experimentation and became the test subject. Within three weeks, the diabetes was reversed. The result proved to be direct evidence of the effectiveness of the diabetes cure program offered on this website and was confirmation that type 2 diabetes can be reversed. The program was later featured in the WebMD Diabetes magazine in the article “Secret recipe: How a Chef Cured His Type 2 Diabetes”. You have now seen the evidence and testimonial, so let us help you safely reverse and cure your type 2 diabetes. While managing your diabetes is the best time to apply the program, so act and save your life and your health by avoiding pending heart disease and stroke. We invite you to order our diabetes cure program now.

Solution for Managing Type 2 Diabetes, Pre-Diabetes, Overweight, and Obesity

Pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes

Pre-diabetes, as well as full-blown type 2 diabetes are on the increase, so much so that in 2010 the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a mandate for all nations to take action to combat the spread. In 2015, The International Diabetes Federation reported that more than 400 million people were living with diabetes. Experts predict that if this trend continues, by the year 2040, 1.8 billion people around the world will be diabetic. This article and the research cited within focuses on the growing recognition by diabetes researchers that the consumption of sugar sweetened beverages (SSBs) and foods high in sugar content may be a main cause of pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), overweight, and obesity. A practical and natural solution is also being given for tackling these conditions.

Diabetes type 2 and sugar

Normally, sugar is converted into the simple sugar, glucose. Then, insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, assists in moving the glucose into the cells of the body. A normally functioning pancreas adjusts the amount of insulin produced based on the level of glucose in the blood. If one has diabetes, blood sugar levels become too high and a healthy or normal balance is lost. My research has found that type 2 diabetes commonly occurs when one consumes an excess amount of refined sugar over an extended period. Unlike with type 1 diabetes, where the pancreas produces very little or no insulin, with type 2 diabetes, the pancreas produces an adequate amount of insulin, but the cells are resistant to the hormone.

Weight Gain and Increase in Cases of Type 2 Diabetes

According to Dr. Sanjay Basu Ph.D., an Epidemiologist from Stanford University cited in the Stanford Medicine newsletter in an article written by Digitale (2013): Researchers from Stanford University School of Medicine, the University of California-Berkley and the University of California-San Francisco examined data on sugar availability and diabetes rates from 175 countries over the past decade. After counting for obesity and a large array of other factors, the researchers found that increased sugar in a population’s food supply was linked to higher diabetes rates, independent of obesity rates. Their study was published in Feb. 27 in PLOS ONE. [1]

FB Hu and VS Malik (2010) put forth: Research suggests that sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption is a risk factor for overweight and obesity as well as several cardio-metabolic conditions, especially T2DM. [2]

Overweight and obesity

The human body is a remarkable mechanism able to heal itself when given the right foods. Lifestyle Medicine, the application of healthy eating to allow the body to heal itself is gaining momentum in the medical field. As a diabetes researcher and lifestyle strategist who once almost lost his life to type 2 diabetes, my research, which saved my life, showed that pre-diabetes can be reversed and type 2 diabetes can go into remission by using a three-pronged approach. This includes:

  1. Low calorie diabetic diet: This facilitates weight loss.
  2. Diabetic exercise: Exercise designed for diabetics facilitates burning off the excess sugar buildup in the body, plus, weight loss. The way this occurs is that once the sugar has been burnt off, the body turns to fat for energy. The first of the fat to burn off is the thin layer coating the red blood cells. Once that layer of fat is burned off, red blood cells responsible for carrying sugar to the muscles to be used for energy are exposed and begin to absorb sugar and transport it to the muscles. The cells which had become insulin resistant are restored to insulin sensitivity. The diabetes is then in remission.
  3. Vitamins: A diabetic often requires vitamin supplementation. Vitamin supplementation can speed up the effectiveness of above two methods.

The man accredited as the father of Mathematics, Abn al Haytham, also known as Al Hazeen, taught his students about the importance of evidence-based conclusions. After consulting with several health care practitioners, I carried out my own research and experimentation. I was determined to achieve weight loss and reverse my type 2 diabetes. The development of my three-pronged approach allowed me to achieve my goals in only three weeks. This became my direct evidence of its effectiveness and confirmation of the growing assertion that tackling the problem of excess sugar in the body and weight loss can produce the reversal of T2DM. In 2009 when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I had a blood sugar level of 21.7 millimoles/L—a life-threatening quantity. After three weeks on my program, my blood sugar level was normal. With continued practice of the specific exercises given in my weight loss/diabetes program, I have gone from an overweight 220 pounds to my suggested healthy weight of 180 pounds. To this day I remain type 2 diabetes free and at the same healthy weight.

The above three steps have been endorsed by Prof. S.M. RAJENDRAN. M.D., FRCP(GLAS), D.Sc. and Professor of Diabetology and Medicine and are available to the public globally at the website Just For Diabetics. Adherence to the above three-pronged system can certainly and easily allow a pre-diabetic to lose weight and overcome their condition. It can also put diabetes into remission while allowing for weight loss at the same time, as I myself achieved. Reaching these goals further brings about a reduction in the chances of acquiring heart disease or having a stroke; two of the top causes of a diabetic’s and overweight person’s death.

As a Lifestyle Strategist trained in the culinary field, my personal experience with weight loss and healing from type 2 diabetes using lifestyle medicine—healthy eating, exercise, and vitamins—was featured in WebMD in 2016.

Managing Diabetes

Most commonly, type 2 diabetes is managed through the use of prescription drugs. Managing diabetes in this manner has allowed the condition—which can be reversed—to proliferate worldwide. Managing diabetes means the victim will always remain a diabetic. While managing diabetes, you can apply the three-pronged method of lifestyle medicine to reverse your condition and achieve loss of excess weight. You should also confer with your doctor when adding this method to your lifestyle.

Diabetes and erectile dysfunction

We all have our little secrets that we’d rather not talk about. For the sake of this article, I will share my experience and hope it will help others. When I was diagnosed type 2 diabetes back in 2009, there was so much sugar in my body that I began to notice boils in my penile area which resulted in erectile dysfunction. My doctor gave me a prescription drug for the boils. But regaining my erectile function took more than prescription drug. This is my story.

There are two main types of diabetes. Type 1 and type 2. 10% of all diabetes are type 1. The remaining 90% are type 2. With type 1 diabetes, the pancreas no longer works. This means the patient requires manual insulin injection to transport sugar to the muscles which is to be used as energy. With type 2 diabetes, the pancreas still works. It secretes the same amount of insulin, a hormone, responsible for carrying sugar into your blood stream to be absorbed by the red blood cells and carried to the muscles to be used for energy that fuel our bodies.

Understanding type 2 diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is a progressive condition. It starts as pre-diabetes. If nothing is done, it progresses to type 2 diabetes. From there, sugar build-up in the body continues to do more damage. Type 2 diabetes occurs when there is build up of sugar in a person body over several years. The insulin secreted by the pancreas is not enough to transport the excess sugar into the blood stream. Some of that excess sugar remains in the body. It begins to degrade the body while damaging the victim’s internal organs and even causing heart disease, liver failure, and blindness. That same sugar build-up can cause impotence, according to America Diabetes Association.

How diabetes affects erectile function

Erectile dysfunction occurs when sugar build-up in the diabetic’s body, not the diabetes, finds its way into the nerves in the penile area just as it finds its way into other parts of the body such as the heart, liver, eye and it damages these organs. The sugar begins to weakened the nerves in the penile area leading to erectile dysfunction just like it weakens the nerves on it’s victim legs leading to leg amputation, if action is not taken.

 Penile dysfunction Transformation

Research result after research result have demonstrated that, the human body can heal itself when it is given what it needs to fix itself. For example, if you cut your finger seriously enough to visit emergency, the doctor gives you pain killer, the pain killer blocks the part of the brain responsible for making you feel pain. This way, you don’t feel pain while your finger heals.

There is a saying that goes, “people who are successful at anything are those who take action”. To begin to heal from my erectile dysfunction and my diabetes, I began to research and discovered a 3-step program that transformed me. The program failed at first until I committed to it. I told my doctor that that I must share my knowledge with others and help them. To which he replied, “That is an excellent idea”. This exchange resulted in my recent book, “Diabetics Journey: How Type 2 Diabetes Can be Reversed and Cured”.  I now teach others who have erectile dysfunction, or who are pre-diabetic or type 2 diabetic regain their good health, through my book and website Just For Diabetics

Type 2 Diabetes-My Story

I am sharing this story with diabetics in the hopes that they will be inspired to bring their type 2 diabetes under control.

Signs of type 2 diabetes

In September 2009 when Dr.  Robinson diagnosed me as a type 2 diabetic, my blood glucose was so high that his face turned red as he viewed my test results.   “Do you know the danger you are in?” he asked me. “You are not far from going into cardiac arrest.” He seemed to be panicking. Perhaps, it was because he had known me since I arrived in Canada back in 1982, and I was known for being very healthy.

Before I went to see my doctor, or should I say what drove me to visit him was that, I had extreme cravings for sweets, which I indulged. I began to experience rapid weight loss and frequent urination for several weeks.  At first, I was so happy that I had gone from 215 pounds down to 180 pounds in two months.

By the third month, each morning when I awoke and went to clean up, I saw a sticky, whitish substance on my tongue and at the corner of my eye. I didn’t know what this was, so I went to my doctor. He sent me for tests that morning and, by 1 p.m., his office called authorizing me to rush back to his office.

Type 2 diabetes diagnosis

Dr. Robinson informed me that I had become a diabetic. According to him, the whitish, sticky substance coming out of my tongue and at the corner of my eye was the excess sugar trying to exit my body. When he said that, I went into shock. I sat staring at the wall speechless.

My doctor put me on large doses of Metformin.  Next thing I knew, I could not see. I thought I had gone blind and started panicking. People appeared to be a blur. I could make out cars and was able to see the structure of buildings.  A friend helped me and called Dr. Robinson, who explained that  the sugar was beginning to withdraw from my body and from my eyes, causing my eyes to shut down, and that my vision should return in four weeks.

When he diagnosed me, he asked, “Do you know the danger you are in? You are not far from going into cardiac arrest.”

Reverse type 2 diabetes naturally

Yes, I was at death’s door and a walking sugar-man, yet I managed to reverse and cure the diabetes permanently.  Type 2 diabetes can be disrupted and stopped. My story was featured in WebMD Diabetes magazine fall 2016 issue page 19 as well as on their website using the title Chef Reveals How He Reversed and Cure His Type 2 Diabetes.

I had always thought that type 2 diabetes was a permanent disease that had to be managed by drugs. It turned out there was no research to indicate that, leading me to work with a total of five doctors and to research a cure.

I am no longer a type 2 diabetic. Each time I tell people my story, they ask, “How did you do it?”

My doctor asked me the same question, the day he pronounced me diabetes free. “Congratulations,” he said.  “I am so proud of you. So tell me. How did you do it?”

He continued, “In my 40 years of practicing medicine, you are only the second patient I have seen who was able to cure his diabetes. You are unique.”

I told him that now that I know type 2 diabetes is a condition and can be reversed, I wanted to write a book to help others. His response: “That is an excellent idea.”

What is managing type 2 diabetes?

It means you are still a diabetic and will always be diabetic.  Many people see diabetes as a disease that should be managed. This is not true. Every experienced medical doctor will attest to this. Managing it means you are setting yourself up for catastrophic ailments such as heart attacks, liver failure, blindness and leg amputation. It also means the diabetes will progress to the type 1, the deadlier type, which may lead to an ailment that requires even more drugs. Managing your diabetes defeats the purpose. Doesn’t it?

Ninety percent of all diabetes is type 2, the reversible type. Ten percent is type 1, the deadly and incurable type.  Why manage type 2 diabetes when you can reverse?

Diabetics Journey Author Interview

Interviewer: Rick Tunis

Published by:  Ernest Quansah

Ernest Quansah is the author of the recently published Diabetic’s Journey: How Type 2 Diabetes Can Be Reversed and Cured. He lives in Vancouver, Canada, has worked as a chef, and now as a certified Culinary Assistant. Quansah specializes in the curing of type 2 diabetes. He has a certificate in Peer Counselling and is the author of four books.

Rick: Good day, Ernest, and thanks for taking this interview.

Ernest: Thanks for having me.

Rick: How did you develop your expertise in the curing of type 2 diabetes?

Ernest: Good question to start with. As a chef and pastry chef, for many years I consumed sweets. I ate sweets for breakfast. I ate them for late night snacks and even in the middle of the night. Subsequently, I noticed a whitish sticky substance appearing on my tongue each morning. Then I went to the doctor and was diagnosed. The doctor explained to me that the sticky whitish substance was the result of excess sugar buildup finding a way to exit my body. He also explained that my condition was so serious that I was not far from going into cardiac arrest. After the diagnoses, for two years I managed the diabetes using traditional pharmaceutical drugs. One day I decided to ask my doctor if diabetes could be cured. He said yes, using several approaches all working together. That is what led me to start my research work on how diabetes can be cured.

Rick: What influence did diabetes have on your life?

Ernest: Diabetes had both positive and negative influences on me. For example, I lost hope waiting for the day when the diabetes would take my life, and expecting it would first induce diseases, such as heart disease, liver failure, blindness, and so forth. On the positive side, I realized what I direction I should move in. I refused to accept the usual fate caused by diabetes and began a journey to see what would happen if I tried to heal myself, and if I succeeded, how I could use my experience to help other diabetics.

Rick: Is your writing influenced by science, life experience, or other factors?

Ernest: My writing is very much influenced by life experiences, which have always lead to some sort research to certify that what I write about is the truth. This means; what I write is backed by research. It’s not just things written by me, it is based on the studies of researchers worldwide.

Rick: In your latest book, Diabetics Journey, you talk about how type 2 diabetes can reversed and even cured.  How did you come to this discovery?

Ernest: That happened when my doctor told me that type 2 diabetes could be cured by using several approaches all working together. His advice led me to do research, and sure enough his statement, which I mentioned before—that type 2 diabetes can be cured—proved to be correct.

Rick: What was most inspiring to you while writing Diabetic’s Journey?

Ernest:  The idea that I would be connecting with diabetics all over the world and serving them through presenting my story and my research so that they too can regain good health. That was the most inspiring thing for me.

Ernest: What would you like to say to readers of your new book?

Ernest: The most important thing I can say to my readers is this: Why manage your type 2 diabetes with drugs when you know that it can eventually progress to type 1 diabetes and wreak havoc on their heart? Now that you know I have a website dedicated to helping you cure your diabetes, why not make use of it and get cured like I did?

Rick: What can your readers expect to learn from Diabetic’s Journey?

Ernest: While most books related to the cure of type 2 diabetes are just recipe books, Diabetic’s Journey comes with a story—how I became and diabetic, the steps I took that led to a cure and the findings of other researchers who now say that type 2 diabetes can be cured. What’s more, it has a summary of an article about my cure method that was featured in WebMD Diabetes, fall 2016 issue, page 19. In fact, my book contains lots of proof that type 2 diabetes can be reversed and cured. Furthermore, it contains the principles of how this cure can be achieved.

Rick: Can you give us an idea of what your next project is?

Ernest: My next book will be my fifth and final book. It is being written as my gift to my better half. It is my idea to convert it into a screen play, some day. I will keep the details from the public just for a few more months, mainly because my significant other does not know that I am writing it and about to give it to her.

Rick: I think that’s about it. Thanks once again for taking this interview and good luck with all of your future endeavors.

Cow’s Milk the Likely Cause of Lethal Type 1 Diabetes.”

What causes type 1 diabetes?

While reading a book titled The China Study, I came across the below and decided to share

The benefits of exercise bring me back to President George W Bush. He is known to enjoy staying physically fit with a regular running routine, and that is undoubtedly one of the reasons why he received a clean bill of health when he had a colonoscopy.  The widespread communities of nutrition professionals, researchers and doctors are, as a whole, either unaware of this evidence or reluctant to share it. Because of these failings, Americans are being cheated out of information that could save their lives

Type 1 Diabetes

The ability of cow’s milk protein to initiate Type 1 diabetes is well documented. The possible initiation of this disease goes like this:. A baby is not nursed long enough and is fed cow’s milk protein, perhaps in an infant formula. The milk reaches the small intestine, where it is digested down to its amino acid parts. For some infants, cow’s milk is not fully digested, and small amino acid chains or fragments of the original protein remain in the intestine. These incompletely digested protein fragments may be absorbed into the blood.  The immune system recognizes these fragments as foreign invaders and goes about destroying them.  Unfortunately, some of the fragments look exactly the same as the cells of the pancreas that are responsible for making insulin.  The immune system loses its ability to distinguish between the cow’s milk protein fragments and the pancreatic cells, and destroys them both, thereby eliminating the child’s ability to produce insulin. The infant becomes a Type 1 diabetic and remains so for the rest of his or her life. This process boils down to a truly remarkable statement: cow~ milk may cause one of the most devastating diseases that can befall a child

As you will come to see, much is governed by the Golden Rule: he who has the gold makes the rules. There are powerful, influential and enormously wealthy industries that stand to lose a vast amount of money if Americans start shifting to a plant-based diet. Their financial health depends on controlling what the public knows about nutrition and health. Like any good business enterprise, these industries do everything in their power to protect their profits and their shareholders. You might be inclined to think that industry pays scientists under the table to “cook the data,” bribes government officials or conducts illegal activities. Many people love a sensational story. But the powerful interests that maintain the status quo do not usually conduct illegal 249 250 TH E CH I NA STU DY business. As far as I know, they do not pay scientists to “cook the data.” They do not bribe elected officials or make sordid underhanded deals. The situation is much worse. The entire system-government, science, medicine, industry and media-promotes profits over health, technology over food and confusion over clarity.

Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is caused by refine sugar build-up inside the body making the body insulin resistant. On the other hand, type 1 diabetes is caused by cow’s milk, according the the article’s author. I hope the above excerpt has given you some insight about what goes on behind close doors. Unlike type 1 diabetes,we now know based of scientific evidence  that  type 2 diabetes can be reversed and even cured. The research on this is refuted. Why manage your type 2 diabetes when you can reverse and even cure it
